We have selected plates and sharing ideas to accompany your table on cooling evenings.
There is no need to make big plans when setting the table on autumn evenings. A good bread, a root vegetable softened in the oven and a hot plate laid out in the middle are often enough.
This season, we are turning to darker and rounder flavors in the kitchen. Pumpkin, mushrooms, celery and roasted peppers; ingredients that are good on their own, and carry each other when they come together.
| Add to the table | It goes well with it |
|---|---|
| Baked root vegetables | Herb sauce with yogurt |
| Roasted peppers | Sourdough bread |
| Mushrooms and chestnuts | Spicy bulgur |
Instead of overcrowding the table, we like to do a few things well. When a plate is warm, one is spacious, and one is for sharing, there is always something for everyone.
The final touch may be a candle, maybe freshly ground black pepper. The rest is left to a long conversation.
